Meet the Team.

PEA Lincensed Home Provider - Mrs. Mary

Picture
My name is Mrs. Mary. My favorite color is green. I am a daughter, mother, wife and quality child care provider. Education has always been a big part of my life, as my mother worked for Tacoma Public School District as an office coordinator. She fostered a love of learning in me that has never ended.. My father instilled in me that "in all thy gettings, get an understanding" - He encouraged me to think critically and never stop pursuing knowledge. I consider myself a life long learner. I have 2 associates degrees, one in Early Childhood Education and a BASW and BA in Sociology from Pacific Lutheran University. My passion for early childhood development was spurred by being a stay at home mom for 10 years. I loved playing with my children, going on adventures together and seeing their minds widen to the possibilities of life. I love watching children discover the world around them. I try to provide a home-like setting with academic goals for the children and families who enter my home. I look forward to meeting you, the newest member of the Pathways family.
